Canvas: Drawing functionality should be session-only (not persisted) #136

Description
The drawing/annotation functionality on the canvas should be temporary and session-based only.
Expected Behavior
- Drawings should not be saved to the database
- Drawings should be lost on page refresh
- This keeps drawings as quick annotations/brainstorming tools without cluttering saved state
Current Behavior
TBD - needs implementation
Use Case
Users can sketch ideas, make temporary notes, or annotate the canvas during a session without permanently affecting the saved canvas state.
