add FieldType.NoDisplay for data that you do not want the user to access

FieldType.Hidden only hides the column initially, but it is still available in the Hide/Show menu

I guess the only argument against that is for data that is ok for the user to see, but you know that in general the user won't want to see it. In that case, you may want to hide it by default but still offer the user the option to see it...

But I think that's a super-edge case, so I'm good with continuing to use FieldType.Hidden and removing it from the menu
