Problem

Finding somewhere to start contributing can be overwhelming for new contributors. It’s not clear what is currently being prioritized and it can be hard to get an idea of overall direction/goals

Proposal

We should highlight our projects page on GitHub. Projects provide better entry points for getting involved in current development priorities.

-The coders, who can get familiar with eOS codebase by looking what is up for grab among bugs (in a more focused way) OS 8 Bugfix table

-the designers - i was thinking for a project board for everything we want for future eOS versions but which needs design and discussing first. Maybe seeing stuff sitting there in the overview, which are in the "we want this", would encourage people to get a hand on it on the component that inspire most

-the translators - Weblate has links for each language to an overview of strings needing to be checked/with automatically detected quality issues. eg https://l10n.elementary.io/checks/-/-/-/de/ for german. Maybe the doc can do a correct link depending on the potential contributor's set language
