I really dislike the name "utils". It is often used as "meh, I don't
know what to call this file. It helps another module, therefore it
must be a 'helper' or 'util'". What do you think of renaming this to
"io"?
The child message is:

This name doesn't really fit because this should be a generic file for
helper functions, not only I/O.
