copy pathway function encountered a 'nodes' issue

When I tried to copy a package in the python client, I got an issue saying 'nodes'. Any suggestions on fixing this?

pw = eP.get_pathway(pathway_URI)
target_package = eP.get_package('https://envipath.org/package/7b1f2aa6-6c1e-441d-bb48-a9f38a7064cb')

_, copied_pw = pw.copy(target_package, debug=True)

I've tried it with the code above and it works as expected.
