Your icons are great and you have the basic structure down. I think you have started in the right direction.
The biggest issue we have is that you are behind maybe 10 or so hours. I would advise to copy a lorem ipsum to fill in dummy data. http://www.lipsum.com/
From there you can fill in structure and begin to apply css to fit your wire frame design. Then I would examine the lab course code and mimic it's structure closely to save time. Once you hit the handlebars template I think you will be in excellent shape. The css will be easier to examine and mold as well. Try and focus on simplicity and accomplishing tasks. It's ok if your portfolio site looks similar to the lab project, what's important is that you built it yourself and understand the concepts we are applying. You can do it Adan!
