Feedback from the Extempore compiler is not properly “echoed” (printed out) in Atom status-bar

extempore --device 3 --sharedir "E:/Coding/Extempore" --term cmd

I am evaluating (println "Hello, World!")
It prints in the server terminal (Windows cmd.exe) but not in status bar of the Atom editor.

Instead I see #t flash for a moment in the Atom status-bar and disappear

That is what println is supposed to do. The status bar displays the return value of whatever function you've called, so the status bar is displaying #t (true), i.e. that the message printed in the console correctly. To display on the status bar, evaluate ("Hello, World!").
