Location of tmp file not passed back

Also the location of the tmp-Files ist not passed back in the file-Object of the 'fileUploaded'-Event. So I don't see a way to access the tmp-Files.

Is the whole File-data set in file.data? How about 2 GB-Uploads? Since node-uploader supports chunks I think its useful think in such dimensions.

The whole file-data is currently stored in file.data, yes.

One of the goals I had when making this module was to make it easy for me to wait until an entire file had finished uploading before processing it. I see your point about large files.

Another thing I wanted to do was make the module able to handle uploads without touching the FS at all, but I never had time to look into this.

How do you suggest we should change this module to better handle large uploads, preferably without sacrificing the convenience the module currently offers for handling smaller uploads?

Large Uploads may only be streamed. I suggest making the chunks accessible with an "data"-Event.

To make it eases, it should get the file-Structure enriched with the chunk-Information:

The data Attribute could contain the buffered Data, so there ist still no need touching the file-system.
The fileUploaded-Event should be triggered anyway, the whole data in file.data should also be set to make it fully backward-compatible. But an option to suppress that can be introduced.
