Can you add a feature to read local documents

Dear Developer,

I am using this browser extension that you have developed. I use it as a resource download notifier. One of the features of the keyword highlighting extension that you developed is that it can display a note while highlighting the text. It is very convenient to download resources and mark them as downloaded.

However, as more and more resources are downloaded, the keyword list is getting longer and longer. Could you possibly allow the extension to read a local document? This would make it easier to manage and add keywords.

Not sure if following is what you asking:
AutoHighlight doesnt work for local documents, (even with allow local file access option enabled (Allow access to file URLs)).
It only works for online webpages.
Idk why.

I don't actually need a real local document feature.
As shown in the image, I just want something like this — using Everything to set up a local HTTP, then reading and updating local TXT content into the extension.

This way, managing keywords line by line is much more convenient.
Having a whole bunch of keywords crammed together in the extension interface without any separation is really hard to manage.
