I am using the Maxthon browser. Why is there no response every time I click on Quick Access after opening it? It takes about 20 seconds before I can open it.

Same: I am using brave browser. Today, we have the 20th of November 2025. The response time is up to 10 seconds for the Brave Browser . No Inet connection/server issues. checked and reproduced

2. If the dials page loads for 10 seconds, does it always takes that long?
3. Can you open Task Manager in your operating system and on the "Performance" tab check if the SSD or CPU is elevated during those 10 seconds.
4. And lastly, click the Main menu / Advanced / Show runtime logs / Send e-mail, that will send me runtime logs that could help identify the issue.

I made a few observations today. First, I should mention that I'm a new Brave user and was used to Opera's quick tiles, so I was looking for new speed dials. Yesterday, I installed the add-on. I kept noticing long pauses, even though my system components are up-to-date and fast. I tried several things, for example, disabling graphics acceleration in Brave, which seemed to fix it briefly – the problem was gone, or so I thought. Wrong! The problem reappeared shortly after. Then I disabled the many "security features" – malware scanning, browser protection, etc. – in my VPN app, and it improved somewhat, but the pauses (in all dials) persisted. Finally, I discovered that the obfuscated servers were primarily the culprits. WireGuard server logs, on the other hand, only cause a slight delay of one second (also annoying). However, it's also a fact that Opera, compared to Brave and the Speed ​​Dials, doesn't introduce any pauses or delays, regardless of the settings or server. Brave itself, with its many security features (script checking, etc.), could negatively impact the add-on. In conclusion: The dialers are the last to be used, after the VPN app and Brave have completed their automated processes.
