How pattern really works?

I use regex a lot, but but i m missing something or thread watcher regex pattern does not work properly on public BOT.

I tried to catch all names which contains some specific text like "Title of thread" i want to catch with pattern `*rea*` (because of thREAd) in the name.

After /batch or /auto is successfully created i run /threads and i can NOT see the thread in list and i dunno why.
