code editor misbehaves

Overlapping <pre> and <textarea> doesn't match precisely in some cases and it gets a bit hard to edit the content. Also, json editor is a bit unclear in terms of usability because of a strict formatting (can't use ', only " instead of auto replace; can't move to the next line with an escape, etc.)
