Suggestion: to add web browser support controlled by infrared remote. Note: numbers 1-9+... do not represent any code, used to list quantityof commands.
Process: I was using the Flirc Windows App on PC

Purpose: The purpose of this setup is to surf (read) the webpage contents, navigating with the remote on the pc.
Example infrared remote commands:
Title of Controller: web browser pc

  1. Up 2. Down 3. Left 4. Right 5. Select 6. Return/Go Back 7. channel down (Scroll Up) 8. channel up (Scroll Dn) 9. Menu (go to address bar)

Example Mapping Infrared tv remote control to virtual keyboard(controller):

  1. Up Arrow, Up 2. Down Arrow, Down 3. Left Arrow, Left 4. Right Arrow, Right 5. Enter (select) 6. Backspace (Return/Go Back) 7. Pg Up[scroll down] (channel down) 8. Pg Dn[scroll up] (channel up) 9. Menu (go to address bar) Ctrl+L 10. highlight weblink, Tab (volume up) 11. highlight next weblink, Shift Tab (volume down)

Note: you can map all these functions from the virtual keyboard to an infrared remote. This may be a helpful tutorial example for developers. Or use as an example tutorial.
