[Feature request] Support for pill shapes (wider buttons)

Description

This appears to only work for circular (or square) buttons. It would be great to support longer buttons (like those that contain text).

Why

I can't rely exclusively on iconography in my buttons because the behavior is more nuanced.

I have a buttons that say "Send", "Reply", and "Invite To Group". I'd like each of these to have a button animation.
