Summary
After install from Snapshot-2026-02-07 ISO network-manager package is missing in Plasma, Budgie and Xfce. It is present and working in live enviroment during install.
Gnome is unaffected.
Steps to reproduce
- Boot from Snapshot-2026-02-07 ISO in uefi mode
In my case locale EN_GB, Location Stockholm and Keyboard Swedish but all else are default settings in setup - Verify that network is available, f.ex by opening plasma-nm applet, Firefox or
nmcliin terminal - Start install and reboot after install is completed
- Open plasma-nm applet, Firefox or
nmcliin terminal verify no connection available
Expected result
NetworkManager installed, running and able to access internet

I can't look in journalctl or install network-manager either due to sudo permission missing which has been reported as separate issue.
- Host is Solus/Plasma fully up-to date as of todays date and ISO installed with qemu/virt-manager
- Let me know if there is anything else i can provide to help diagnose this
- Hopefully i'm missing something obvious with this but i cant figure out a root cause here.
