Mailing list alternative

Recently I discovered that many communities are using "Discourse"
forum instead of the mailing list. Is it worth to evaluate that for
Gluster community as well?

We could also move to HyperKitty (https://hyperkitty.readthedocs.io/) and keep the mailinglists but add some interactivity. Fedora offers it for their lists already: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/

It would be worth posting a link to this discussion on the infrastructure list to ensure that the maintainers of the mailing list infrastructure aware of this and also contribute to how they see this fitting into the plans of OSPO etc
