Yes, Valkey would have the benefit of a more friendly license. In terms of functionality, they're pretty much the same as far as we're concerned, and the commands are compatible (which is unsurprising given that Valkey is just a fork of Redis). In terms of performance, they're likely both much faster than we'll ever need.
