Not working on Archlinux

Expected behaviour: opens a new tab on the same working directory as the current tab.
Current behaviour: opens a new tab on my $HOME directory, no matter what directory the previous tab was in.

OS: Archlinux
Window manager: i3
$SHELL: zsh

Is there a log file anywhere I can take a look at?

I have the same problem with ArchLinux, Xfce4 e Zsh 😭.

I use the same setup but it works perfectly fine for me.

I had the same problem. After I looked in the source, I noticed it needs lsof.

It worked after I installed this dependency (sudo pacman -S lsof)
