Description
I've had an idea in the back of my mind for a while to implement custom multi-mods. Let me explain...
Currently, multi-mods can only be created by administrators. However, this is sort of backwards, because administrators are normally not the ones doing the moderator duties on a day-to-day basis. They can, of course, have a discussion about what sets of actions would be best grouped together for specific tasks, but wouldn't it be better if each moderator could create his or her own multi-mods, instead of hoping that an administrator will do so for him or her?
Well, this is where my idea comes in. However, the implementation is what is the most difficult. It must fit in with permission settings, of course. Moderators shouldn't be able to create multi-mods that can do tasks that they are unable to do without one, naturally, but moderators can have different moderative permissions per forum, making this difficult to regulate. It could be restricted to only making a multi-mod per forum, but then it would take longer to do because they would have to take the time to make a new one for each forum they want to, instead of just assigning one to multiple forums.
If anyone has any ideas about the best way to implement this, let me know!
