• I have tried reproducing this issue in ungoogled-chromium and it could not be reproduced there
• I have tried reproducing this issue in Helium with a new and empty profile using --user-data-dir command line argument and it could not be reproduced there

Description

Certain sites do not trigger the security key windows pop up

How to Reproduce?

1. Go to affected site (experienced behavior with Google and Cloudflare sign in)
2. Log in as usual and wait for 2fa

Actual behavior

In the case of Googles sign in it says there has been an error and to try again. Cloudflare simply throws you back to the login page again.

Expected behavior

For the windows security key pop up to come up and let me use my security key. Oddly this works fine for GitHub.

Can reproduce this behaviour trying to log in on a Google account with passkey through the Bitwarden extension on 0.8.3.1 Windows, it seems this issue is related to the now called Helium Noise, a similar thing used to happen with Cloudflare's verification where it would be stuck in an endless loop unless canvas fingerprint (now canvas pixel noising) and audio context fingerprint deception (jitter audio context data) were disabled.

Disabling Helium Noise altogheter makes it so that Bitwarden's passkeys work again. I guess a similar thing would happen with Windows's own passkey system which you're describing.
