Having this problem many times when I do a big chain and I'm wondering; is the chain too complex?

Hi looking at the logs, it seems that freeze morph has done something weird here, I can't quite figure out what has gone wrong as the logs are strange. That node has it's own custom processing chain as it is actually a composite of two CDP processes so I will do some digging and see if I can figure out what is going on with that.

Just to note that error: 256 on the final process just means that soundthread couldn't find the final output file to rename it. It almost always indicates that something had gone wrong earlier in the thread and CDP hasn't generated a file. To find the actual issue you need to scroll up to the first red error message in the console, that will usually be accompanied with an explaination of what has gone wrong.
