Exit/Quit Hotkey

My case is definitely an edge case. I use the i3 window manager on Linux. It would be nice to have a Quit entry in the menu - or like Ctrl+Q hotkey. I currently have to rely on i3's kill window command to close the application.
On a similar note, I have to do the same for the settings dialog. It would be cool if something like Escape would close that dialog.

Is that really a kill command? I use Hyperland and the "killactive" command to quit all my applications. For programs like GIMP it ask me if I want to save before quiting. It is not a force kill -9. So what is the real problem? What is the difference between like on windows pressing the close button?

Actually even with soundthread we get the confirmation dialogue if we have not saved.

You are absolutely correct @enkvadrat - it isn't a true 'kill' - so it works, and tiling WMs are definitely edge scenarios I think, but being able to handle the exit via hotkey - within the app itself - would be cool.
Definitely a low priority suggestion :)

Just to be sure: @baiguai could you please explain a bit more what you would like to have for this feature ? Adding a shortcut to shutdown the Godot process is quite straightforward, but there are many ways we can design it to be more flexible for your usage :)

I've not worked with Godot, it looks like I'll need to prep my machine so I can run/compile it.
