Slider type for gradient color combinations

Hi, and thanks for the awesome color picker plugin.

I'm looking to create a slider which can be used to create gradient type color combinations, like this:

So, the slider would have multiple handles/indexes, with a certain position and value (color/hue). If there is a way to do this as a "custom slider" that would be ideal, I think, as that would mean that I could do exactly what I need.
