I was inspired by Build A Robot, and wanted a lesson in our tool that does something similar. I think this would be a great lesson to teach advanced CSS positioning concepts as well as basic JavaScript DOM Manipulation.
This lesson should walk a student through how to layout and build the robot, as well as hook up all the parts via JavaScript. How the robot looks and what the robot does when some items are clicked is up to you.
Graphics, sounds, and fonts should all be free to use. MIT licensed.
