Recommendation for getting file name tab completion when attaching files?

On a mac, I'm having a minor annoyance with tab completion not working for file names when adding them to a task. Any recommendations for the best way to get this to work?

For now I'm going to write a wrapper script around the `task` command to achieve this. But didn't know if there might be something more basic I'm missing. Thanks!
