Replacing dmenu with dmenu-recent-aliases makes $mod d do nothing #2

I have dmenu, I run i3, and I have an alias for a wine program. When I rebind my keybind for dmenu-run to dmenu-recent-aliases, it does nothing. However, when I run the same command in my terminal, it comes up with a screen. If you want some files, just ask.
