Make settings window not cause chat window to disappear if possible

So usually, when you use an app, if you access settings is because you're changing or configuring something, usually with the intent to the continue using the app. As it stands currently, when you access the settings window from the chat window menu, the chat window disappears. So, when the user finishes with the settings, they then have to re summon the chat window. This is an unusual behavior, at least in my experience.

I'd recommend, if possible, that we try to have the settings window not make the chat window disappear. What do you think about that?
