Fine tune your process #14

Description

@lakruzz

Have a look at the kanban view. It has three status columns: ToDo, In progress, Done. There appears to be fourth column but that is listing the issues that does not have any status.

  • Consider in you team how you want to model at process where issues can either be on the the backlog or be in scope of an ongoing iteration (sometimes in agile context referred to as a sprint) - but never in both categories at the same time.
  • Kanban means "signal", it's a pull model rather than a push model. Board items are pulled into the In progress column. Discuss, descide and model, how exactly this flow will be implemented in your team.
  • The project supports a handful of automated workflow - consider each one of them; configure and enable the ones you find useful - disable the rest.
  • Visit the customizable fields already defined. Are they useful? Tweak, delete or add whatever you need to support your flow.
