VBox Manager does not accept address

I have downloaded and installed VBox Manager, it really does the job but there is a HUGE bug: I cannot use a URL in the address. I am only allowed to use and type an IP address or the hostname. This is not desired.

What if I want to access my VBox from the internet or I do not remember the IP but the internal vbox.company.com address??

Example:
www.mydomain.net --> not accepted
1.2.3.4 --> accepted
hostname --> accepted
