I'm using Keyman to type in Google Sheet using Safari on the latest macos, 26.0.1; and this happens.

Any character typed is output together with its orginal key being mapped on.

This issue is reproducible on Keyman 18.0 versions.

Reproduce the bug

1. Download and Install Keyman & khmer_angkor (or any keyboard)
2. Go to Safari > Google Sheets
3. Start typing s[vPO (សៀវភៅ) in one of the cell.

Expected behavior

Result: សៀវភៅ

I have been using Keyman Classical Greek successfully on a MacBook Air M2 with MacOS. I recently upgraded to MacOS 26. Now, in Safari Google Sheets, every time I type a Greek letter it doubles with an English letter. Like ρr when I just type ρ (rho). But not in other apps or web entry, like here.

I was able to reproduce with macOS 26.01, using Google Sheets and Safari.

In addition, Google Docs with Safari produces only the latin characters. So with the Khmer Angkor keyboard active, typing 's[vPO' produces 's[vPO'.

Using the Google apps with Google Chrome works as expected.

Using Google apps with Safari and macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 also works as expected, so this appears to be isolated to macOS 26.
