Downscaling

I've been trying to edit the "Scale" for certain skins (namely Glacial Contrast and Tilt Reveal, I'm guessing the issue is common for other skins that require downloaded fonts), but it seems that reducing the scale by an integer does nothing, and reducing the scale by a fraction renders the downloaded font unable to load. Is there anything I can do about this?
