Running it as a Server
First change in the gremlin-server-bitsy.yaml:
scriptEvaluationTimeout --> evaluationTimeout (it will not even start without that)

--> When I try to call g.addV("test") I'm getting No Serializer for UUID.

Do you have any hint how I could solve that?

Do you have the full exception stack trace?

Every vertex is identified by a UUID object of this class: https://github.com/lambdazen/bitsy/blob/master/src/main/java/com/lambdazen/bitsy/UUID.java

It is possible that the Gremlin Server is trying to serialize and deserialize this class.

@lambdazen Possible yes, can you share a working example with the GremlinServer & Bitsy? I would like to check bitsy for our project.

Similar issue was detected by me with much older Server, see #7
And it was also about UUID. AFAIK, something changed (or you have to tweak server serialization) to make it work with 3.6.x TP
