Why are you name dropping and boasting with OSHW stuff and not using an Open Source license for your product? Merely the PCB layouts are open sourced, where the true innovation is the magnet connector (cough MagSafe copy) of yours. You speak about how important it is to go open source and the benefits for educational purposes, and that this is an educational product, but then swing the IP+patent hammer. :(
