I'm somewhat dreaming here...but wouldn't it be cool to assign RDP and vmconnect sessions to their own virtual desktop so when you switch to such a desktop you are in that session and can easily switch back to your local desktop using the same keystrokes. I suppose how to handle nested sessions/virtual desktops is the problem though....unless....all nested sessions always showed up in their own virtual desktop and from the user's perspective they weren't nested but were just a flattened list. If VirtualDesktopManager was running on every machine that you had open, it could be smart enough that when it got to the end of the list it would cycle properly to where it left off on the next virtual desktop up the hierarchy. hmmm...
