Password input types?

Currently the label is displayed as the typical password **********, is there a way of changing this?

add var to defaults

var defaults = {
                populatedClass : 'populated',
                focusedClass : 'focused',
                passwordClass : 'passwordbefore',
            },

on each function change all password type to text:

if ( input.prop('type') == 'password' ) {
                input.addClass( settings.passwordClass );
                input.prop('type', 'text');
            }

on focus:

if ( input.hasClass('passwordbefore') ) {
                    input.prop( 'type', 'password' )
                }

on blur:

if( !input.val() ){

                    if ( input.hasClass('passwordbefore') ) {
                        input.prop( 'type', 'text' )
                    }
