New Hackage release needed

The current version at http://hackage.haskell.org/package/haskelldb doesn't include the GHC 8.0 compatibility patch.

I just patched it myself, only to find out it's already been done -.-

I recommend you build from source. I don't know when I'll find time to put a new release up. My apologies.

Fair enough, I mostly opened the issue as a way to signal to other people who might end up here that the package on Hackage is outdated.

My colleagues and I just patched and tested it for GHC 9.4.8, any chance you would be able to make a release if I submit the PR?
Otherwise, would you be open to get other people to help maintaining this? My colleagues have been maintaining it locally for years, and it would be nice to be able to share this with everyone else and fix the broken package in Hackage/Stackage/Nixpkgs

I'd be glad to pass ownership to someone using the library! I'm not quite sure how to do that, but I imagine I can pass the repo & hackage ownership somehow.
