Rails 5.2 support

Has anybody tested Trix with Rails 5.2 yet? It's restricted in the gemspec, but that appears to be an old enough requirement that I'm guessing it might just work

Yeah @DRBragg's fork works perfectly fine. It's just annoying that the official repo doesn't get updated.

If you guys didn't see I rebooted this repo into an updated gem, https://rubygems.org/gems/trix-gem, which I will be keeping updated but very basic.

There is another gem, https://rubygems.org/gems/trix-rails, that is updated and includes many enhancements to the original gem.

You all are welcome to use whichever one suits your needs.

@DRBragg Thanks for your work. When working with Simple Form, I'm still getting a no method error for trix_editor or no input error, depending on how I set it up. Any guidance on that over and above what's in the original README?

@andrewhaines unfortunately no... I'm not terribly familiar with Simple Form so I can't be much help. I have some work stuffs due by EOD but I'll take another look at the repo and see if I find anything obvious.

Sad to see the maintainer completely disregard this in multiple PRs. Having multiple contributors would have helped...
