Deprecate "_" namespace

Util methods now live in the object named "_", a legacy convention from using underscore.js 

Since we al ready support the jQuery object, or any compatible lib, maybe we can merge the two and have the utils in the same namespace, saved in "$.fn" - a convention that already exists in jQuery.
