Density in Mapbox Studio Editor not a number field

I created a tile maps with tile-count and everything works fine. As well uploading it to mapbox and adding it to a style. But when I d'like to style the points based on the density, I have troubles. I assumed, "Style across data range" is the right way. There I have to choose a number field. Density is a number field, but the editor refuses the density: "Property must be of type: number".
Any ideas?

This is a bug in the Mapbox mbtiles unpacker (which renames the layer inconsistently, losing the attribute type declarations) and there is a fix planned on that side. (Sorry, can't link to the issue because it's in a private repo.)
