Hm, no idea why it wouldn't work... I don't really feel like trying to nuke my environment to try with a fresh download. But in my case I have Java 17 JDK installed from the Temurin builds (old AdoptOpenJDK) on Linux, and if I invoke the build with: it builds the mod succesfully. Which Loom version does it say it's using for you? For me it seems to use Loom 0.11.34 currently. |

I'm following the instructions to compile, but am getting an error. At first it was a refusing compile because I had the wrong java version installed, but now that that's fixed, it's starting to compile but giving the following error:
I'm getting this error on the fabric 18.x version's direct download without having changed anything yet. Is there a specific reason I'd be running into this error?
