Home page bookmarks are missing icons or icon colours.

Hi!

For the past 2 days or so, I've noticed my home page bookmark icons have been either missing the icon colour I assigned them, or missing their icon completely. This seems to be, somehow, a degenerative issue; I am missing more icons today, than I was two days ago.

In this image, the icon on the left is completely missing. The icon on the right is missing the colour that was assigned to it when I created the bookmark.

I checked out my settings, making sure the colour was still applied there, and that the image URL still pointed to an image. As far as my settings go, I cannot see a fault there.

I tried creating a new bookmark, with the same settings as one of my bugged ones. The same result appears; no icon.

Could you please point me in the right direction for troubleshooting this?

For all I know, it could even be an issue with the browser I use, LibreWolf. I wiped my cache, just in case, but the issue persists.

This might be due to this one change I made to how bookmark icons are rendered a while ago. I noticed this and have released a fix for this should hopefully solve this issue.

Can you make sure you're on v1.10.3 and then let me know if this issue still happens?

Just updated to the latest. It fixes the missing icons (yay), but not the colours/details themselves. For example, the icon on the right in my original post includes colour information in the URL I used for the bookmark.iconType, but it's not showing. Here's the URL I used for reference.

The URL points to an icon that has colour and detail information that isn't shown; instead it just shows a white silhouette.

Try leaving the bookmark.iconColor field empty and seeing if that fixes it.
