Window build fails

package will not compile on windows since it uses Unix-specific networking functionality (module net) from std::os.

The sticking point for Windows builds here is the API support for Unix domain datagram sockets. This is actually supported by modern versions of Windows, so there are roughly three options for making Windows builds work:

1. Put Unix domain socket support behind #[cfg(unix)] and only support UDP on Windows.
2. Support Unix domain sockets by going directly through the Windows API, or a third party crate like socket2 or uds_windows that provides Windows UDS support.
3. Wait? There was a pull request opened days ago to add Windows UDS support to the Rust standard library. If all goes well, this will eventually trickle down into stable Rust and provide feature parity with minimal code changes.

I have local code changes to implement (1), and they seem to pass the tests. I can submit a PR if you're interested.
