Find out why pew doesn't prepend virtualenv path

So far really liking pew alternative method for virtualenv activation / deactivation.  Although it looks like the activated virtualenv is not prepended to the $PATH.  For now, I've added this step to the python component, but I'd like to figure out what's going on so pew can manage this step.
