Opening files via Ctrl-o only works if there are no spaces in path (Linux Mint) #3970

I'm having trouble with the file switcher via Ctrl-o. Micro finds the local files just fine and can cycle through them with the tab key, but opening does not work if there are spaces in the path. This results in an empty buffer.

Advice on how to solve this? Not sure if I'm not missing something.

Thanks!
