Photos no longer resized (for external blogs)

I’ve just uploaded my first photo using the new iOS app. Whereas previously images would be resized down to 1800 pixels on their longest size, now images are not resized or optimised at all, as far as I can tell. I slightly cropped colour photo I uploaded was just under 10MB, used the P3 colour space instead of sRGB (which makes me think no optimisation took place).

Is this a feature of the the previous app that still needs to be carried over, or is the intention that that resizing is no longer performed by the Micro.blog client, and as such it’s up to an external Micropub server to perform any transformations required?

The scaling (and cropping and filters) are coming back in version 3.1. We implemented them already but there was a cropping bug that forced us to push it off until the next release.

Just an update here that will either be in 3.3 or 3.4 iOS releases. Android version to be confirmed.

Did this ship in v3.3 (or before) at all? I ended up adding resizing to IndieKit, so this is no longer a need personally, but would be nice to restore this functionality, if it has yet to return.

This is not in the 3.3 release. We'll have to revisit the resizing in another version.
