Description
Hey everyone 👋
I’ve recently been exploring Azure AI Foundry and its potential for home automation projects. My goal is to create a smart home setup where devices can make small decisions based on data — like adjusting lights, temperature, or sound systems automatically using AI prompts and models.
I’m currently experimenting with a home scheme that connects sensors (motion, sound, and temperature) to Azure AI for decision-making. I’d love to know:
Has anyone here tried integrating Azure AI Foundry models into a local IoT or home automation setup?
What’s the best way to handle real-time data flow between devices and AI endpoints without too much latency?
Also, any advice on optimizing the AI cost and model efficiency for small projects would be super helpful.
This is part of my personal project to bring intelligent automation into everyday living — combining Azure’s AI capabilities with a practical home system.
