New version of the PAC‑CLI: 1.51.1
Update your PAC‑CLI version by following Microsoft Power Platform CLI - Power Platform.
Some of these new features are already documented in the code apps docs. For items that aren’t documented yet, expect updates soon.
Dataverse
Lookup support in
add-data-source– When you add a Dataverse data source, the CLI now auto‑generates typed models for lookup columns to improve type safety and reduce runtime errors.Bug fix: connection references – Resolved issues that could occur when adding connection references via the CLI, improving reliability during ALM and environment moves.
Developer Experience

Logging for
add-data-source– Improved console logging helps you troubleshoot common failures when adding data sources.Request ID in console output – The CLI now surfaces a Request ID for relevant operations, making it simpler to trace and debug server‑side operations.

region:prodproperty is now consistently included inpower.config.jsonwhen initializing new apps, preventing environment‑specific URI issues.New Docs & Examples
