Check the packaging libraries to find the most relevant

Python seems to encourage to use a packaging library corresponding to your needs. Setuptools, being the historical one, we use setuptools now and it works but it would be interesting to study if a lighter one wouldn't fit exactly the needs which is building a binary for raspberry pi.
