App menu doesn't display in KDE's global menu

Describe the bug
When using the global menu in KDE, the App Menu doesn't appear.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Add the global menu to KDE Plasma
2. Open the app
3. See the missing menu

Expected behavior
The menu should appear both with and without the global menu
