OSX ST3 nothing happens

love the idea of this plugin, just, nothing happens.
No console error when invoking 'Create file from Template', no other reaction either.

Btw: when installing the description still says its a plugin for ST2, but in your others commends you mentioned you use it with ST3. I am still a bit confused.

this is quite weird, installed through cloning it into the Packages folder it works as expected, but installed through the Package Installer it doesn't do anything anymore without any erros logged :/

Once I add a template file, I can go through the motions, but the file created is empty even though this is what is in my template file:

I'd like to confirm that I also have this issue in ST3 on OS X Yosemite installed with Package Control.
